The Tabiona Tigers are the 1A Boys Basketball State Champions! The boys beat out Panguitch
on Saturday night
with a final score of 47 – 39. A Deseret News article shares what a special win this was. 1999 was the last time Tabiona won the state title and Coach Gines was the coach then too. “Our kids have been so focused throughout this tournament,” Coach Gines told Deseret News. This win was a dream come true for the bulk of the team, now seniors, who had been playing together since middle school. Congratulations to the Tabiona Tigers boys basketball team, 1A State Champions!
