Former Police Chief of City in Carbon County Facing New Allegations

The former police chief of a city in Carbon County is facing new allegations of misconduct. The Wellington City Council voted to terminate Rory Bradley as Chief of Police in April 2021 after a meeting that explored the accusations of three women that Bradley allegedly harassed, requesting nude photos among other inappropriate behavior. The reason given for the termination was that Bradley sought to retaliate against the victims following being disciplined for his behavior. This week, ETV News reported that Bradley is now facing charges of misdemeanor assault for other actions taken while employed as Chief of Police. The charges are the result of victim testimony and video that shows Bradley putting a coworker in a headlock as well as slapping the same individual on the backside. Bradley is scheduled to make an appearance in court on these charges in September.
