A Red Flag Warning is in effect for most of eastern Utah and western Colorado. National Weather Service explains that hot, dry and windy weather has created critical fire conditions. As a result, a Red Flag Warning remains in effect. After today, critical fire weather conditions are expected to continue through most of the remainder of the week. The western side of the Uintah Basin also has a Red Flag Warning in effect with a Fire Weather Watch through June 9th. There could be wind gusts of up to 30 mph and relative humidity as low as 8 percent. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
