Education is a vital component of community and personal growth. As such it is at the forefront of many of the Basins discussions. Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the 4th annual Uintah Basin Education Summit. The summit’s theme is “Growth Mindset in the Digital Age” with the keynote speaker Dr. Christy Kane speaking on Electronics and the Effect on the Brain. Everybody is invited to attend. Members of the public will need to pay $10. All educators and administrators get in no charge and will earn Re-Licensure credits for the hours attended. The event will have breakouts, amazing food, some Aggie ice cream and several prize drawings throughout the day. The Summit has a new venue this year and will be held at the Union High School,
