The Shop With A Cop program is a charitable cause with a special purpose and local agencies enjoy participating each year. Roosevelt’s Shop With A Cop event was held on Saturday at Stewart’s Marketplace in Roosevelt. Christmas cheer was spread to about 50 children in the community as law enforcement officers and first responders spent their morning making Christmas magic and helping the kids pick out Christmas gifts. Shop With a Cop first came to Utah in 1990 as a program through K-Mart. Roosevelt City Police Department offered a huge thank you to American Legion Post 64 for their donation of $500 dollars to support Shop with a Cop this year.
