Against the odds, an annual Flaming Gorge fishing contest has received official dates. The 2021 Burbot Bash has set the competition for January 29th through the 31st. There are, of course, necessary changes made due to COVID-19 precautions. This year there will only be online registration. Registration will open about one month before the event and all registrations must be turned in by January 24th. All registration packets will be mailed out by January 25th. Another change is that winners will be announced online as there will be no closing ceremonies happening. There will be numerous prizes that will be given out randomly on the ice.
