The Duchesne County Children’s Justice Center and Roosevelt Theaters have partnered to support Child Abuse Awareness Month with a special movie day this weekend. Representatives from the Children’s Justice Center and their Friends Board will be attending the

movie matinee at the Roosevelt Twin Theater handing out backpacks that have water bottles, and a few fun items inside, as well as Child Abuse Awareness information for the children and their families. Duchesne County Children’s Justice Center Director Cheryl Boren says the event is simply a special opportunity for the center to give information to the community regarding child abuse awareness. The scheduled movies are Dumbo and Shazam and the cost is $4 per ticket.
