Uintah County Library is celebrating its 111th birthday and all are invited to come party with the staff and fellow patrons. It’s interesting to note that the Uintah County Library is a year older than Vernal City, which will celebrate its 110th year as a City in Utah in 2019. Presenting to the Vernal Area Chamber at a recent meeting, Library Director Sam Passey shared statistics that show just how valuable the library is to the community. 13,888 visitors have used their cards. 30,000 people are registered. Total program attendance has been 25,791 people and there has been a quarter of a million foot traffic visits a year average over the last 7 years. All are invited to the Uintah County Library’s 111th birthday party
on Monday, April 15th, from noon to 5pm
. There will be cake, fun activities, and a massive birthday card to sign!
