The Duchesne County School District has confirmed its fourth confirmed case of COVID-19 in the district. “On Friday, September 18th, Duchesne County School District was notified by TriCounty Health Department that an individual at Roosevelt Junior High School tested positive for COVID-19. This is the fourth positive case in the district and the second at Roosevelt Junior High School. One case has now recovered, and one is active. Those who were in direct, prolonged contact with the individual who tested positive will be notified by TriCounty Health Department or Duchesne County School District. If you were not notified, neither you nor your student had direct, prolonged contact with the individual who tested positive. Should you or your child begin to exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, etc.), please do not send your child to school, avoid contact with others, and call your primary care provider immediately for guidance.
