The Basin has enjoyed the annual Storytelling Festival for many years but unfortunately, it had to be cancelled last spring due to COVID-19. Good news is here, however, as it has been rescheduled for this Saturday, September 19th, at 2pm. The festival will open with a local storyteller Katie Chanelle Ufford sharing stories from our very own small town. The talented and highly popular Sam Payne will also be there. Sam has his own show
on BYU radio called The Apple Seed which produces content weekly. Sam Payne has also been a featured storyteller at festivals across the nation. His unique talent of using his voice with both words and music to bring stories to life will be well worth the time. This is a family friendly event filled with laughter and heartwarming tales. There will be a show at 2pm and 7:30pm at the Vernal Middle School auditorium. Tickets are $10 for a family, $5 for adults, and $3 for students.
