Roosevelt City has been asking residents of Duchesne County to complete the Census. In response, the completion rate increased by two percent. While that is an improvement, Duchesne County residents are urged to do better. The census data collection ends on September 30th, 2020. That leaves 27 days to be counted and ensure that Duchesne County be eligible for the $1,800 in federal funding per person. That is $36 million dollars a year for the next decade that could help the county. While census workers are going door to door, Roosevelt City asks that residents step up and help the community by beating census workers and filling out the census online instead at https://my2020census.gov/. Roosevelt City asks that you “tell your family members, friends, and neighbors to fill out their Census. We’re not kidding when we tell you that the Census has the power to change the future for our City and County. Get to it.”
