Uintah Basin Healthcare wants the community to know that their facility is a safe environment continuing to offer quality care to patients. The organization issued a press release on Monday sharing that they continue to actively respond to the outbreak of COVID-19. They have implemented new screening and visitation policies to protect their patients and staff. All patients and visitors will be screened for possible illness [or] exposure before being allowed to enter and no one will be allowed to enter who is sick or ill except to seek care for their illness. “Please allow yourself extra time before your appointment to allow to be screened upon entering,” shares Director of Volunteer Services Maigen Zobell. “Also, please become familiar with our current visitation policy before you visit.” No one under age 18 will be allowed to enter the facility except to seek medical care. No one will be allowed to visit patients who have confirmed or possible Coronavirus. The elderly and those with chronic health conditions are asked to NOT enter the Uintah Basin Healthcare facilities unless necessary to maintain health. The Villa is now in fully secured mode and is NOT accepting visitors.
