What do you do with over 50 dogs that need to be adopted? The Furever Buddy’s Dog Rescue in Roosevelt had this dilemma but luckily had a wonderful solution. The NKUT Super Adoption event is a cooperative effort between shelters and rescue groups from across northern Utah held at the Utah State Fairpark. The event took place from Friday, May 17th to Saturday, May 18th. Families could come and bring their own dogs or meet some new ones. The dedication of the small shelter was in full display as they prepped for the event. The team of six got ready
at 4am Friday
, loading fifty-three dogs and driving two and half hours to the state fair park. The efforts of the team paid off as on the first day there were twenty-seven adoptions. In the end, forty-two of fifty-three dogs were adopted. Thank you to the crew of Furever Buddy’s for helping so many of our four footed friends find their forever homes.
