The PRCA announced this week that a Uintah Basin man is the winner of a prestigious annual award in professional rodeo. Josh Frost of Randlett captured his first Linderman Award this year for competing in the tie-down roping, steer wrestling, and bull riding events, shares PRCA ProRodeo. The Linderman Award is given to a cowboy that has won at least $1,000 dollars in three events, one of which must be a roughstock event and one a timed event. “It has been one of my goals for a while to win the Linderman,” shared 24-year-old Frost with PRCA ProRodeo. “It’s a prestigious award. I have (tie-down) roped my whole life, but I was never able to qualify with my steer wrestling. But I practiced a bunch this winter and it made a difference, and I got qualified for steer wrestling in the summer.” Congratulations Josh Frost on this accomplishment!
