A wet spring leads to green grass, beautiful flowers and an uptick in the mosquito population. Every county is doing what they can and Daggett County will be doing an aerial spray over a couple of days. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, aerial spraying, when done correctly, has no effect on people, pets and the environment. It will not cause asthma attacks as it only puts
around 1 to 2
ounces of chemical per acre. The spraying is done during times that bees are not active because if the spray made direct contact it would have a chance to harm the bees.
On Wednesday, July 17th
and
Thursday, July 18th
there will be aerial spraying going on in Manila.
