A patriotic event tomorrow in Vernal is one you won’t want to miss and all it will cost you is a donation to the troops. The local branch of Safari Club International teamed up with country artist Chris Petersen for a free concert and a donation for packages to the troops is the admission price. Examples of donations include chapstick, snacks, toiletries, chewing gum, bug repellant wipes, notebooks and pens, sunscreen, playing cards, and letters. The donations will be delivered to the Sgt. Daniel D. Gurr Foundation to be used in the packages they send overseas. The concert is on July 6th at 7:30pm on the lawn outside the Uintah County Library. Bring your own chairs, a donation, and your patriotism!
