A quick City Council meeting
on Wednesday
night handled several items of Vernal City business. The Council approved a request from Questar for road encroachment on 500 South near the Springhill Suites. This is for the installation of a gas line isolation valve. The encroachment will be placed on the side of the roadway, out of the traffic lane. The Council also approved a request for new police vehicle lease agreements. The approval was for the leasing of eleven police vehicles this fiscal year through Ken Garff Motor who has been the dealer of the City’s police vehicles for the last several years.
