A Smithsonian exhibit is coming to the Museum of Uintah County. The ‘Voices & Votes: Democracy in America’ traveling exhibit explores the American democracy and is traveling to five Utah communities over the next year with the next display at the Museum of Uintah County from August 15th through October 17th. This is part of the nationwide America250 commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the United States and is possible thanks to the Museum of Uintah County partnering with Utah Humanities and the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street program. The Vernal exhibition kickoff celebration is happening on August 15th from 10am to 3pm. There will be remarks and a ribbon cutting at 10am followed by live music, games, and guided tours.
