It was a positive outcome to a search and rescue mission in the High Uintas on Thursday.
The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office credited the dedicated members of Duchesne County Search and Rescue and the Utah Department of Public Safety Helicopter Crew for their outstanding efforts in helping reunite the Losee family. “Search and Rescue personnel were deployed to the Rainbow Lake area in the High Uintas, where they worked alongside the DPS helicopter crew to safely locate and assist an elderly 79 year-old hiker in need,” shares the Sheriff’s Office. “Their professionalism, teamwork, and willingness to answer the call—often in challenging and remote conditions—made all the difference.” The Sheriff’s Office extended a Thank You to everyone involved for bringing the Losee family back together safely.
