An 18-year-old Vernal woman is facing charges after allegedly having a sexual relationship with a child. According to the Probable Cause Statement, Kylie Wagner engaged in sexual activities with a child under the age of 14. While law enforcement officers were speaking with the minor victim regarding his age and activities, Wagner “sent electronic messages to [the minor victim] directing him to state that he was eighteen years old and to hide items.” Wagner is not in custody but is scheduled for her initial appearance in 8th District Court on August 24th. She is charged with 2nd Degree Felony Sexual Abuse of a Child and 3rd Degree Felony Obstruction of Justice.
