Uintah School District made an important announcement on Wednesday concerning the summer lunch program. “Due to low participation, the Fort Duchesne Community Building summer meal site will close effective June 25,” shares the announcement. “Free summer meals will continue to be available for children ages 18 and younger at our remaining meal sites, including Ashley Elementary, Randlett Community Center, Richardson/Teva-Ma-Wesi Park, Lapoint Community Park, and Whiterocks Community Building.” Free meals for those age 18 and under are available on weekdays through July 22nd. No meals, however, will be served on July 2nd and 3rd. For more information, visit the Uintah School District Facebook page.
