Uintah County Preliminary Election Results

Preliminary election results have been reported for the 2026 Primary Election. Uintah County reported a 38% voter turnout with 4,996 ballots cast out of 13,205 registered voters. In the race for Uintah County Commission Seat A, Keith G. Campbell received 55.81% of the vote, Randy L. Vincent received 29.34% of the vote, and Matthew Wilber received 14.85% of the vote. The preliminary results in the race for Uintah County Commission Seat B are very close. Joe McKea received 50.05% of the vote with just 5 more votes than Danny Harrell who received 49.95% of the vote. In the race for Uintah County Clerk-Auditor, Barry Johnson received 33.09% of the vote while Margie Shewell received 66.91% of the vote. Uintah County votes were also among 19 total counties with votes in the race for U.S. House District 3. In Uintah County, Celeste Maloy received 69.6% of the vote over Phil Lyman with 30.40% of the vote. Maloy over Lyman matches the overall preliminary results counting all counties.
