An opportunity to help the Uintah Basin’s only recovery home for women is as simple as doing some spring cleaning and donating your gently used items. Project Alley’s 2nd annual rummage sale is happening this weekend and donations are currently being accepted. Donations can be dropped off until Friday, May 1st, in the Hotel Haunt/Lamplighter Hotel parking lot where a storage container will be open each day until the rummage sale. “When dropping off items, we kindly ask that everything is in fair condition, with no broken items,” shares Kennedy Chivers. “We will be selling these items at the rummage sale with all proceeds going to Project Alley Recovery Home. We invite you to drop off items but also come shop and see what treasures you might find!” The rummage sale is happening Saturday, May 2nd, from 8am to 1pm in the Lamplighter Motel parking lot at 120 East Main in Vernal.
