A closure has been announced for State Street in Roosevelt. “State Street will be closed from 300 North to 500 North,” shares the announcement. “The closure will be for 2-weeks starting on Monday, April 20th and go through Monday, May 4th. Residential vehicle traffic will be detoured around this closure by going on to 400 East, turning onto 300 East, then turning onto 600 North and back onto State Street. Commercial vehicle traffic will be detoured onto 1500 East, turning onto 1000 North and back onto State Street/North Crescent Road.” Roosevelt City announced on Friday that the closure is needed for construction. For those interested, the Nature Park will still be accessible from the north side of the closure on State Street.
