An exciting list of Uintah Recreation projects are making progress in addition to the Uintah Rec Center expansion project. USSD1 Executive Director Cheryl Meier shared an update with Evans Family Media this week. The newly remodeled Remember the Maine Park should open around the first of May with a new pavilion and ADA sidewalk, painted bathrooms, a new fireplace, asphalt, and better landscaping. The Uintah All Wheels Park shade structures and bathroom/concessions will be complete this month. There will be new bathrooms in Ashley Community Park located by the softball fields and the current bathrooms have been demolished. Those should be ready by July 4th. Naples softball fields will also be getting a new bathroom with concessions and score tower. That will be started after the girls softball season is over. Pickleball and tennis courts at Ashley Community Park by Ashley Elementary will be finished in the first part of June and pickleball courts at the Naples Park have also started and should be finished in June.
