The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office has authorized drilling permits on oil wells in Duchesne County. Three permits were issued to Javelin Energy Partners Management LLC for the Jensen Oil Wells. The project location is on private surface land northeast of Roosevelt in Duchesne County. The BLM also issued three permits to Scout Energy Management for the Phoenix Wells. The project location is on BLM-administered land in the Greater Monument Buttes Unit in Duchesne County.
