A joint operation is focused on protecting youth while holding local businesses accountable. The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office shared on Thursday that the Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with Tri-County Health, conducted a joint compliance operation in Duchesne City focused on preventing illegal sales to minors. During the investigation, it was determined that ‘Best Convenience’ was selling vaping products and other prohibited items to juveniles. Authorities also confirmed the business was operating without a valid license. The store owner was taken into custody and is currently facing criminal charges. “We remain committed to safeguarding the health and well-being of our community, especially our youth,” shares the Sheriff’s Office, “and will continue working with our partners to address violations and promote a safe environment for all.”
