The body of a missing 67-year-old male from Salt Lake County was recovered from Starvation Reservoir this week. The Utah DNR Division of Law Enforcement shares that “at approximately 10:00 p.m. on March 18th, a report was made of a missing person regarding an adult male who was last heard from on Sunday from family members. At approximately 12:00 p.m. on March 19th the body of the missing individual was recovered from the reservoir. A life jacket was not worn. The Utah Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division extends condolences to family and friends.” The incident remains under investigation. The Utah DNR Division of Law Enforcement thanked the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office and Uintah County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Team for their responses to this incident.
