Joe McKea visited the Evans Family Media studios last week for an interview as part of the Meet The Candidate series. McKea is a Republican candidate running for Uintah County Commission Seat B as a convention only candidate. Also running for Uintah County Commission Seat B are Danny Harrell, Guy Collett, James Story, Tracie Smith, and Ronald Richards. McKea’s career has been in Human Resources, including serving as the Uintah County HR Director before moving on to another opportunity in the field in 2019. McKea said he believes one of the most important functions of the County Commissioners is to build relationships with state and federal representatives, to get in their sights, let them know who we are in Uintah County, and advocate for Uintah County needs.
