USU Uintah Basin researchers are everywhere it seems, most recently presenting in Houston, Texas. “Undergrad student researcher Michael Davies and Dr. John Lawson from the Bingham Research Center took the stage at the 2026 American Meteorological Society Annual Meeting in Houston,” shares the USU announcement. “Dr. Lawson shared insights on our lab’s ozone forecasting system, while Michael highlighted why national air-quality forecasts miss the mark during winter in the Uintah Basin.” Well done to the researchers making a difference through USU Uintah Basin.
