Highlights from the meeting include: Cheryl Meier from USSD1 spoke about the AARP Network and the Council discussed being mindful of the Healthy Aging Communities. “Alta Excavation was selected as the demolition contractor for the outer portions of the Lamplighter Motel,” shares Vernal City. “The next two weeks will be spent on finalizing the contract before it goes to Council for approval on February 4.” The Sewer Master Plan update was also discussed and “the Vernal Regional Airport received a proposal for the construction of offices in the airport maintenance building.
