Miraculously, four people aboard a helicopter near Wolf Creek Campground survived a crash that mangled the helicopter. According to officials, the Wasatch County 9-1-1 Center received a text-to-911 report of a helicopter crash approximately 100 yards off State Road 35 near mile marker 20 on Sunday, January 18th at approximately 3:10pm. “Emergency responders were dispatched to the area and located the helicopter. There were four occupants on board at the time of the crash. One individual sustained critical injury and was transported by AirMed to a hospital for treatment of a head injury. The remaining occupants were evaluated at the scene.” The crash remains under investigation.
