Another broken record made for a memorable swim competition over the weekend, but that wasn’t the only special moment. Uintah Boys Swim Team members Jaten Barraclough, Keith Caldwell, Alexander Spainhower, and Jarom Thomas once again set a school record in the 200 Freestyle Relay. Uintah High Athletics shared, also of note, that the Union High Swim Team presented the Utes with a poster to show their support following the passing of Uintah High swimmer Andrew Olsen earlier in the week.  “We were very happy that our boys broke the record again and impressed by many individual performances,” shares Uintah Coach Jared Bigler, “but the highlight for most of us was the heartwarming gesture by our crosstown rivals in Roosevelt. I believe acts of kindness like this are central to why God put us on this earth together.” Coach Bigler said he was proud of the effort, resilience, and sportsmanship shown by the Uintah swimmers over the weekend.
