The 2026 midterm election includes several state offices relevant to Uintah Basin residents. Those that have filed for State Senate District #20 are incumbent Republican Party candidate Ronald Winterton and Forward Party candidate Annette McRae. Those that have filed for State House District #67 are Republican Party candidates JR Bird, Gina Gagon, and Yvonne Jensen, and Democratic Party candidate Carl Ingwell. Those that have filed for State House District #68 are incumbent Republican Party candidate Scott Chew and Constitution Party candidate Sonya Ray. The upcoming neighborhood caucus night is March 17th. The Utah Forward Party nominating convention is April 11th. The Utah State Republican and Democratic State Party nominating conventions will be on April 25th. Utah’s 2026 primary election will be on June 23rd and the 2026 midterm election will be on November 3rd.
