The Ashley Valley Sewer Management Board has adopted a resolution to increase monthly user rates. Resolution #11182025-1 was signed on November 18th to go into effect in 2026 and shows rates increasing by 2.35% for Residential, Trailer Parks, and Commercial Connections. This means an increase from $15.30 in 2025 to $15.66 in 2026 for residential connections and an increase from $20.40 in 2025 to $20.88 in 2026 for commercial connections. Vernal City Council had the item on their Vernal City Council agenda last week and approved a Resolution to apply the 2.35% increase made by the Ashley Valley Sewer Management Board to the City’s rate structure. The Vernal City meeting packet for the January 7th city council meeting also stated that the City may explore another rate increase to cover capital costs in the future.
