Dinosaur National Monument has a timely reminder for those dreaming of floating the Green or Yampa Rivers in 2026. “The annual non-commercial river permit lottery opened December 1st and runs through January 31st,” shares the announcement. “Apply now for your shot at an unforgettable multiday river trip!” The High Use Season for 2026 is considered May 11th through July 11th on the Yampa River and May 11th through September 11th on the Green River. Multi day and daily permits are located at recreation.gov. The lottery closes on January 31st at 11:59pm.
