Thousands have stepped foot through the doors of the Uintah Conference Center since its opening. While everything is in place for successful events, the County is working to better utilize the state of the art sound and lighting system. Uintah County Commissioners took the first step during

Monday’s

Commission meeting to release the contract originally in place with Cache Valley Electric, the company who designed the system and maintained software operating codes for its use. “

Monday

was the first step for us taking possession of the code so we can then set about modifying the system the way we want it to be,” explains Commissioner Bill Stringer. “The equipment is state of the art and will not need to be changed out. It is just the software that will be reprogrammed and customized to our uses at the Conference Center.” The system was selected and programmed by the management company out of Layton before the change was made to have the Conference Center managed by County staff.
