New Utah State University President Brad Mortensen has announced a statewide campus tour with a stop in the Uintah Basin next week. “I am looking forward to engaging with our students, faculty, staff and community members,” Mortensen said. “Utah State has such a unique structure in how we fulfill our land-grant mission. I can’t wait to hop on the bus and get to know all of these areas better as we look to meet and adapt to needs of the communities we serve.” He will be visiting the Roosevelt and Vernal USU campuses on January 13th which will include a Town Hall meeting on the Vernal campus at 8:15am. Following the tour, Mortensen’s inauguration celebration will be held on January 16th.
