Prom Drive Partners With Night To Shine

A favorite annual event that provides a red carpet experience and prom for our special needs community members is just over 6 weeks away and a new partnership is happening to help those individuals get ready in style. All year round, the Uintah County Library accepts donations of prom attire, including dresses, suits, and accessories, traditionally for local high school students needing formal attire for prom. This year, those planning to attend the Night to Shine event on February 13th are invited to come to the library during set hours on January 14th or 15th to browse through the collection of formal attire. This is also a great time to go through closets and make donations of new or gently used formal attire and accessories. This can include suits, dresses, shoes, dress shirts, ties, tiaras, jewelry, purses, shawls, or other formal attire. Donations can be dropped off at the Uintah County Library or the Museum of Uintah County during their operating hours. For more information, contact Pamela at 435-789-0091.
