Officers in Uintah County responding to a report of a possible domestic assault made an arrest after investigating the situation this week. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, neighbors heard someone screaming for help. The individual was able to get out of the house and officers located the possible victim running south on 2500 West. Officers spoke with the alleged suspect and victim and the suspect admitted there had been a physical altercation and he had grabbed the other person and slammed them on the ground. Officers noted substantial red marks on the front of the victim’s neck and the victim reported an injury to the head and the inability to breathe during the assault. Officers arrested 33-year-old Brandon Woolstenhulme and he is charged with 3rd Degree Felony Aggravated Assault, Misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The judge ordered he be held without bail.
