Uintah County has issued their 2026 Election Notice. The offices to be filled in the 2026 General Election include Uintah School Board Districts 1, 2, and 3; County Commission Seat A and B; County Attorney, Clerk-Auditor, and Sheriff; U.S. House District 2, Utah State Senate District 20, and Utah State House District 68; and several Appeals and Supreme Court Judges up for retention. Candidacy filing will be open January 2nd through January 8th and the deadline is for qualified political parties as well as the School Board. Those who intend to gather signatures must do so during filing and signature packets must be submitted no later than 14 calendar days before their party’s convention.
