UBTech crowned Taylor Harrison as their 2025-2026 UBTech Student of the Year during a special ceremony this week. Taylor, a Practical Nursing student, was awarded a $1,000 cash prize and will now serve as the voice of UBTech, participating in speaking engagements, student activities, and recruitment efforts.
Taylor has more than enough energy and passion for the job. When asked what makes UBTech so special, she said, “To start off I personally think it’s the instructors, the amazing community, and the scholarship opportunities UBTech provides for their students. They really make it to where other people that might not be financially stable can come back to school and gain an education and make a career that they always wanted…That they can find their dream career and do whatever their heart desires.” Congratulations Taylor Harrison, the 2025-2026 UBTech Student of the Year and well done to the other amazing candidates: Haylee Moynier, Stetson Black, Taw Jackson, Ariana Young, Toby Faucher, and Leaira Wilson.
