On November 8th, officers visited a property north of Duchesne City of an individual who had failed to appear in court two days earlier. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, the officer made contact with the property owner, 69-year-old Terry Glen Thayn, and was able to confirm that Thayne had a statewide warrant for his arrest. Thayn resisted arrest and refused to obey lawful commands but the officer was able to place him in handcuffs and effect an arrest after a short struggle. Thayn was found in possession of a pipe with methamphetamine in it. Terry Glen Thayn was arrested on the warrant and has also been given additional charges, including 3rd Degree Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.
