Project Alley, the Uintah Basin’s own recovery center for women, is scheduled to open next week and donations are still appreciated as they put the finishing touches in place. Daily affirmation and Just For Today books are requested as well as laundry soap and cleaning supplies. “The home has passed inspection and we have our license,” shares Kennedy Chivers, Project Alley Director of Development. “We truly can’t even believe it’s here! All the work, hours, time, community support, and an infinite amount of faith has led us here and there are truly no words to describe that feeling. We are ecstatic to get the opportunity to change these women’s lives and show them how worthy they are of another chance!” The Project Alley opening date is November 11th with a ribbon cutting scheduled on November 18th at 9 am.
