Uintah County Highlights Trails Crew

Uintah County has highlighted a part of their team credited with keeping the adventures rolling all year long in this slice of Utah.
“When most people think of Uintah County’s trail season, they picture dust, sunshine, and a line of OHVs stretching across the horizon,” shares the county highlight. “But for the county’s Trails Department, the work doesn’t stop when the engines cool. From replacing signs and clearing washouts in summer to grooming snowmobile routes in winter, the Trails crew keeps over 1,000 miles of Uintah County trails open, safe, and ready for adventure—all year long.”
The highlight also states that Uintah County ranks among the top three OHV trail destinations in Utah. “What many people don’t realize is that every bit of that work—the maintenance, improvements, and even new trail construction—is paid for through grants, not local tax dollars.”
