Naples City residents have the opportunity to vote for two open City Council positions on this year’s election ballot. Naples City Council candidate Jessy McKee has lived in Naples for over a decade and works as an EMT for Gold Cross while running a service business, among other ventures. “My vision for our city government is simple,” shares Jessy. “I want the government process to be as straightforward as possible. Whether someone is building a garden shed, constructing a shop, or building their dream home on their property, the process should be easy and efficient. If our policies and codes or zoning create unnecessary roadblocks, we must be willing to reevaluate and change them…I envision Naples being the best place for businesses to thrive, where we actively support and assist entrepreneurs in their endeavors where we can. Naples is an agricultural and energy-centered town, and our rules and policies should foster success in these areas rather than hinder them…With a few strategic changes, we can attract new and existing businesses to Naples where they make sense…Together, we can embrace what makes Naples unique, ensuring it remains a vibrant community for all.”
