Community members gathered on Thursday evening at the Western Park for the chance to learn more about the candidates running for office in Uintah County. The Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the ‘Politics & Pastries’ Meet The Candidate Evening that included an open mic period and then a Q&A with the candidates running for the Ashley Valley Water and Sewer board. Stories on specific topics discussed during the Ashley Valley Water and Sewer board candidate Q&A, including the Via Ferrata and lawsuit with the Ashley Central Irrigation Company, will be shared next week.
