The new Uintah County Commissioner was sworn into office on Tuesday at the Uintah County Commission Chambers. Brad Horrocks replaced Commissioner Mark Raymond, who served in the Commission seat for 8 years. “I’m really excited to be here and offer to the community my experience with business,” shares Horrocks. “I’ve never run for anything before but can bring my knowledge and life experience to the County.” Horrocks says he plans to work his tail off and work as a team with Commissioner Bill Stringer and Mike McKee, noting that the three of them bring “quite a variety to the Commission.” He also offered thanks to Mark Raymond, saying Mr. Raymond was extremely courteous and helpful during the transition.
