A local duo competed well at a special law enforcement competition event held earlier this month. Roosevelt City Police Department’s Cpl. Jared Harrison and his partner K9 Indie placed 2nd in the Tuff Dog category at the 2025 2nd Annual Bradley Taylor Police Memorial K9 Trials. This special event features 3 days of competitive K9 trials including narcotics, explosives, patrol, and tracking. It gives an opportunity to showcase the talents of K9s and their handlers in the region and Cpl. Harrison and K9 Indie rose to the challenge. “They faced stiff competition and their training and commitment to becoming a great K9 partnership and asset to our community was recognized,” shares the Roosevelt PD announcement. “Congratulations and keep up the good work.”
