A Vernal man is being held in the Uintah County Jail after allegedly enticing a 12-year-old child and then sexually abusing the child. According to the Probable Cause Statement, 21-year-old Treyvin Lee Foote met and engaged with a 12-year-old female over a social media platform. Foote sent nude images of himself to the child then on August 30th he met up with the child inside a vehicle and touched the child’s breasts over clothing as well as inside and outside of the child’s thighs. Foote allegedly kissed the child on the mouth. After that encounter, Foote was confronted about meeting with the child and was told the child’s age. Still, he continued to communicate with the child over social media and communicated that he wanted to have sex with the child. Treyvin Lee Foote was arrested last week and is being held without bail. He is charged with 2nd Degree Felony Enticing A Minor, 2nd Degree Felony Sexual Abuse of a Child, and Unlawful Kissing of a Child.
